Our History
Originally an industrial building business launched by the Surace family, Auslift was built on a foundation of honesty, integrity, and genuine care. These values created loyal partnerships, and we grew.
It began with a single mobile crane and a few pieces of access equipment to support our building projects. As our inventory grew, we began hiring out machines to other trades when they weren’t in use, and a new opportunity emerged.
When safety standards tightened across the construction industry, the demand for reliable machinery and expertise skyrocketed. Auslift Crane & Access was born, soon evolving into Auslift Equipment, merging our hire and sales divisions. Today, while the original building company continues at a smaller scale, Auslift has become a pioneer in the Renewable Energy maintenance sector.
Through all our growth, we’ve proudly preserved our close-knit family values, with the next generation of Surace descendants driving our expansion. Our family now extends beyond just our team to include the many customers who have been with us since the very beginning.

Auslift has a specialised range of large mobile cranes . Our industry experience includes specialising in Construction Lifts, Renewable Energy Sector Equipment Maintenance, Machine Relocations and many more.
Lifts
Auslift has a full range of Elevated Work Platforms (EWP's) and access equipment for sales and rent including boom lifts, forklifts, cherry pickers, scissor lifts and vertical lifts. Boom Lifts are available in articulated or Knuckle Boom lifts and telescopic Straight Boom lifts with each type suitable for different applications.Â
EWP's come in three power varieties with each variety having a distinct advantage depending on its application.
The first variety is your Diesel 4WD all terrain Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts. These are suitable for outdoor use over rough terrain and are suitable for use on concrete, gravel, grass, mud and sand. These have higher torque to help you climb out of sticky situations.
The next variety is the Electric Scissor lifts and Boom lifts and vertical lifts. These are suitable for indoor use as the electric motor is a lot quieter and there are no fumes and are suitable only on flat level concrete. They are also the narrowest boom lifts.
The final variety is the new hybrid machines which give you the quietness and emissions of the electric machines with the outdoor ability of the diesel machines.
