Warranty, Returns and Refunds Policy

At Auslift, we supply you with quality products at a great price.

We understand that you may need help with faults on an item, and we try to make the experience as easy as possible.

This policy covers two categories of product. Machinery means access and material handling equipment – scissor lifts, boom lifts, vertical and mast lifts, telehandlers, forklifts and stackers – whether new or used. Accessories means attachments and equipment such as forklift jibs, fork slippers and extensions, drum handling equipment, container ramps, duct lifters, load restraints, harnesses and safety equipment.

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. For major failures or defects on all brand new equipment, you are entitled to repairs under warranty.

Change of Mind Returns – Machinery

Change of mind return is not available on new machinery sold at Auslift. Most of our machinery is subject to PPSA laws, therefore once a machine has been purchased, it is immediately deemed used equipment.

Used machinery purchased from Auslift has the option of a 1 week trial hire with no obligation to buy for all Greater Melbourne Customers if agreed to prior. There is also a negotiated warranty period on the sale date of the unit. Therefore change of mind return is not available on all used machinery.

Change of Mind Returns – Accessories

Accessories may be returned for change of mind within 14 days of delivery, on the following terms:

  • The item must be unused, in new and resaleable condition, and in its original packaging.
  • Return freight is at the purchaser's expense.
  • A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price applies.
  • Items may be returned by freight, or brought to Auslift Equipment, 2/2-4 Souffi Place, Dandenong South VIC 3175.
  • Please contact Auslift before returning an item so that your return can be recorded.
  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of the returned item being received and inspected.

These change of mind terms are offered in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods.

Faulty Goods Warranty

Brand New Equipment purchased from Auslift all comes with a manufacturers warranty. For more information regarding warranty information, you can contact Auslift directly, or you may also contact the manufacturer directly.

Auslift may have the faulty product assessed internally or by a third-party certified repair agent to determine the nature and cause of the fault. Auslift reserves the right to decline a warranty, or repair where any product fault is caused by misuse or neglect. If warranty is denied, then all costs associated with the assessment will have to be paid by the purchaser.

Additional things to know

For all warranty claims and callouts, transport of machinery to and from any repair centers is at the purchasers expense.

Manufacturer Assistance

Many manufacturers have dedicated support centers designed specifically to deal with issues in relation to their products and may be able to provide a quicker assessment of, and remedy for, any issue with your purchased product. You may, therefore, prefer to contact the manufacturer directly although you are not obliged to do this. If at any time you are not satisfied with the manufacturers remedy in relation to your legal rights, you can contact Auslift for assistance. We may also return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem.
