66ft Straight Boom Lift for Hire

The 66ft Diesel Straight boom lift is medium size telescopic straight boom lifts with a width of only 2.49m.  This is suitable for all outdoor work in narrow spaces.  These boom lifts are often used by roofing companies, riggers etc.. and offer a faster way up and down from heights and a superior horizontal reach to the knuckle boom lifts.

Do I need a licence to operate this machine?

It depends on the boom length. In Victoria, a boom lift with a boom under 11 metres needs no high risk work licence (the operator must still be trained and competent); a boom of 11 metres or more needs a WorkSafe Victoria Class 24 boom-type elevating work platform licence (WP). Call us and we'll confirm for this machine. Most sites will also ask to see an EWPA Yellow Card, which is industry accreditation, not a licence.
